How to apply ?
The application procedure depends on your status (exchange student or free-mover) and on your home university.
Whether you come from a European university or not, the first steps are the same: you must be ‘nominated’ by your home institution:
- Check with your Exchange Program Coordinator if your university has an exchange agreement with Sciences Po Saint-Germain
- Provided such an agreement exists, you have to apply through your home university. Local procedures and deadlines will vary according to each institution.
- Once your university has ‘nominated’ you, we will send you the application material.

- Fill in the Application form
- Email it to incoming@sciencespo-saintgermain.fr with the supporting documents
- In the following weeks, we will issue your letter of acceptance and email it to you along with important practical information
Application deadlines
We must receive your completed application form and supporting documents, exclusively by email:
- Before May 30th, for full-year and Autumn applicants
- Before October 30th, for Spring term applicants
Requirements
- An official exam certificate or a language certificate from your home university showing a B2 or higher level in French or in English
The free mover program is open to students with at least one year of validated relevant studies after their high-school diploma, and who are registered at a non-partner university.
Application process
- Contact incoming@sciencespo-saintgermain.fr in order to receive the application form
- Fill it and email it back with the supporting documents
- You will receive an answer no later than 2 weeks after the application deadline
- If you are accepted, we will send you the payment information; the fee is payable by wire transfer in full to confirm your registration
- Once your payment is received, Sciences Po Saint-Germain will issue your letter of acceptance
Fees
- 1 semester : 1 000 €
- 2 semesters : 2 000 €
The fee is non-refundable, except if your visa is denied, or if you must renounce to study abroad for health or family reasons (an official certificate will be requested).
