Sciences Po Saint-Germain is the youngest Institute of Political and social sciences in France, founded in 2013 by two leading universities : CY Cergy Paris Université and UVSQ Paris Saclay.

As such, our institution brings together an inquiring mindset and the long-established excellence of French higher education.

It is ideally located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a dynamic and beautiful town, a stone’s throw from Paris.

About the city


 

With its majestic castle, elegant architecture, and regal history French King Louis XIV was born here Saint-Germain-en-Laye is the quintessential Île-de-France town.

Just 25 minutes from Paris on the RER, Saint-Germain offers a real change of scenery, flaunting its many assets and economic dynamism amid heritage, nature and the art of living. You will succumb quickly to the charm of the pedestrian streets and uncountable sunny squares lined with youth-filled terraces.

Enthusiastic shoppers and food-lovers have plenty of choice among the 800 boutiques devoted to fashion, interior design and gastronomy. Not forgetting the excellent market which is held on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays at Place du Marché. Ambiance guaranteed!

From Paris Charles de Gaulle airport :

  • 1 – RER B to Châtelet-les-Halles
  • 2 – RER A Châtelet-les-Halles to Saint-Germain-en-Laye

 

From Orly airport :



OPTION 1 :

  • Orlybus to RER B Denfert Rochereau
  • RER B Denfert Rochereau to Châtelet-les-Halles
  • RER A Châtelet-les-Halles to Saint-Germain-en-Laye

 

OPTION 2 :

  • Orlyval to RER B Antony
  • RER B Antony to Châtelet-les-Halles
  • RER A Châtelet-les-Halles to Saint-Germain-en-Laye

From Paris :


  • 1 – Take the RER A to Saint-Germain-en-Laye station (end of the line)
  • 2 – Exit the RER station, then :
  • Take the bus (R2N north or R4) and alight at the ‘Grande Ceinture’ bus stop
  • Or take the tram 13 and alight at the ‘Lisière Pèreire’ tram stop
  • Or walk, about 20 minutes
